 ABOUT th.ink

Welcome to th.ink. This is a website specifically designed for reviews of various tattoo related products, and items. This can include anything from pencils, aftercare products, furniture, machines, and more! th.ink was created because we felt that there just really weren't many--if any--websites dedicated to proper, unbiased, and thorough reviews for the tattoo industry. Those that we have found were either poorly created, or not updated on a regular basis. We aim to provide this service to you. We hope to also have reviews by various tattoo artists, and people who are avid participants in the industry.

th.ink was created by Nicholas "Nik Ink" Crites-Prieur. He is a tattoo artist based in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. The idea had come about when searching for reviews online for products, and noticed that even some of the supply companies had little to no reviews, and those that did were either biased, short, or of no use. Thus th.ink was created.

The website was designed by Nicholas, and his best friend of fourteen years: Shawn "Keto" Fobert. Shawn is a music producer--under the alias Keto--and graphic designer. The logo, and other various creative elements were produced mainly by Shawn with some input from Nicholas along side him. The name "th.ink" was also coined by Shawn!

The name "th.ink" comes from the idea that one should put quite a bit of thought, and effort into reviewing professional products; especially in this industry. With the immense amount of personal preference in this industry getting as much information as possible from other artists' personal experiences can go a long way. The ink portion is obviously self explanatory. As far as the logo the simple typeface used for the th is to represent the text based writing within the reviews that are written, posted, and read. The period is simply just to separate the word ink from the first two letters, and as a way of showing you are at your destination; this is a point of interest. The more elegant typeface is to represent some of the beautiful script that many artists use within their tattoos, and the tattoo machine silhouette is also self explanatory.

We definitely strive to go above and beyond here at th.ink, and hope to be here for years to come. With our care, and attention to detail our hopes are to be a well known, and appreciated source of information for many within the industry we know and love; be them novice, or veteran.

If you have any questions, or comments--or if you would like to write for us--please feel free to click the button below, and fill out the form provided. We eagerly await your correspondence, and as always, this is what we th.ink.

th.ink is in no way, shape, or form sponsored by any one, or many, company, supplier, warehouse, middle man, wholesaler, or any other faction within the tattoo industry. We are an independent group of professionals within the industry here solely to give--what we feel--are unbiased, and factual reviews of products to help other artists within the industry.

 what we th.ink

Here at th.ink we aim to provide thorough and unbiased reviews of various tattoo related items. These items may vary from aftercare items, pencils, machines, to furniture. We noticed there weren't many sites dedicated to this, and those that were did not get updated often enough to suit what we deem as a valuable resource for unbiased information.

"This is what we th.ink."
